It started with a baby who only settled on my hip.
Hi, I'm Marie — mom, and founder of Babboo. Babboo grew out of a simple frustration: every carrier I owned was built for a hike, not for real life with a baby on my hip.
My daughter only ever calmed down when she was close to me. But the carriers I bought were a kilo of foam, eleven straps and a grey that clashed with everything I owned. I'd strap in, feel like a mountain guide, and quietly hide the thing in the hallway the moment we got home.
I kept thinking there had to be a carrier that was genuinely easy — on in seconds, no manual — and that actually looked like something I'd choose to wear. I couldn't find it. So I decided to make it.
That one idea grew into a whole range — a featherlight ring sling for newborns, a stretchy wrap, a hip seat and an ergonomic carrier for heavier toddlers. Different bodies, different days, different needs — but all with the same promise: practical enough for a Tuesday in the city, and beautiful enough to leave by the door.
